Directions to Atlantic Aviation at Bridgeport's Sikorsky Memorial Airport (BDR), Stratford, CT

Driving from Westchester County: Take I-287 to I-95, then I-95 east for 31 miles to exit 30. See Southwestern CT directions below.

Driving from Southwestern CT: Take I-95 east through Bridgeport to exit 30 (Lordship Ave).

Off the exit, turn right onto Lordship Boulevard, and go straight through four stoplights.

The fifth stoplight will have a sign for the airport pointing right. Don't go that way (it would take you to the passenger terminal). Go straight (Access Road) and when Access Rd ends at Main Street, turn right.

After the stoplight on Main Street, you will see a sign on the right for Atlantic Aviation. Turn in there to the parking lot which is bounded on three sides by fencing.

Do not press Atlantic's buzzer. Do not proceed from the parking lot to the Atlantic building. Just park in this lot and call me; I will meet you there.

Driving from New Haven or east: Take I-95 west to exit 32, which is the first exit after you cross the bridge from Milford to Stratford.

Off the exit, turn left and continue straight through the rotary.  You will go down a boulevard with trees in the middle (West Broad Street).  It is about one block long. At the end, turn right onto Main Street.

Go south on Main Street for 1.9 miles. After the last stoplight on Main Street, you will see a sign on the right for Atlantic Aviation. Turn in there to the parking lot which is bounded on three sides by fencing.

Do not press Atlantic's buzzer. Do not proceed from the parking lot to the Atlantic building. Just park in this lot and call me; I will meet you there.

By Train:

Take Metro-North's New Haven line (schedule) from Grand Central Terminal to Stratford, CT. Buy your ticket at the ticket window in Grand Central, or if you are rushing to make the train, you can buy it on board the train.

At Stratford station, call my cell phone.

There are usually no taxis waiting at Stratford train station. If you will be taking a taxi to the airport, then you should get off at Bridgeport instead of Stratford.

Amtrak: You can take Amtrak from Penn Station (schedule) instead of taking Metro North from Grand Central. The Amtrak ticket is a bit more expensive and the trains run less frequently than Metro-North. Get off at Bridgeport (Amtrak does not stop at Stratford).
